Our History

In 2008, Buffaloberries™ opened at 309 South Phillips Avenue in Historic Downtown Sioux Falls as the region's first restaurant to feature natural and organic ingredients and locally-sourced meats, including 100% grassfed bison. Buffaloberries soon became the 'go to' restaurant for health-savvy customers and individuals with special dietary needs or preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.

At the end of our 3-year lease in December, 2010, Buffaloberries moved out of our storefront location and began constructing an inspiring commerical kitchen in the cellar of our historic and distinctive Arts & Crafts home at 804 South Phillips Avenue. Within a few months the construction was complete and we were fully licensed to provide healthy off-site catering.

In August, 2014, we were granted a license to open The Jasper Stone Bed & Breakfast, providing healthy and delicious organic gourmet breakfasts to guests from all over the world. Although we are no longer able to offer off-site catering services due to our busy hosting schedule, we continue to promote healthy eating sharing our ingredient standards, meal ideas and recipes.
